In Photo Duels the site shows two published photos of the same model. You pick the one you like more, or skip the pair — skipping doesn't affect the rating.

How the rating works

Every photo starts with an Elo rating of 1500. Beating a photo with a higher rating earns more points, losing takes points away. So that one lucky win doesn't make a photo “the best”, we use a conservative estimate: the rating minus an uncertainty margin that shrinks as the photo plays more duels.

When a “best photo” appears

A photo can become the leader only after a minimum number of duels (currently 10). Until then the profile honestly says “No winner yet”.

Protection against vote stuffing

Pairs are issued by the server and can be used once, a repeat vote by the same visitor for the same pair within 24 hours doesn't count, and the vote rate is limited. Anonymous mode can't guarantee that every vote is a unique person, so treat the rating as a community guide.
